Injectable Fillers

What are Injectable Fillers?

As the aging process occurs, wrinkles form as the abundance of natural collagen and hyaluronic acid diminish. Fillers are injectable substances used to fill in wrinkles, lines, and folds on the face. Determination of which filler is appropriate for use is made on an individual basis and include factors such as desired treatment location and depth of wrinkles, lines or folds. Collagen provides structural support to skin, muscle, tendons, and one and is the most abundant natural protein in the body, while hyaluronic acid provides skin volume.

Injectable fillers have very few side effects, usually only lasting a few days. These can include redness or swelling at the site of injection. Restylane and CosmoDerm injections are performed by Dr. Watkins. The Eye Center Group offers Restylane and CosmoDerm as our selection of the safest and most effective fillers available.
